The North Dakota Lawn Mower Racing Association is a sanctioned body of the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association, as such we adhere strictly to USLMRA rules and regulations governing modifications of the racing mowchines themselves, as well as regulations pertaining to track lay out, pit protocol, and conduct.

Three basic safety rules apply to all classes...
- Remove the blades!
- You must have a kill switch to stop the mowchine should the driver leave the mowchine.
- You must wear the following personal safety equipment-
- Full Face Helmet with Eye Protection - either shield or goggles
- Racing Style Neck Brace
- Over the ankle boots
- Gloves
- Long sleeve shirt
- Long pants
* Racing suits are recommended but not required.
* MotoCross style Body Armor is recommended but not required.
